Also suggested, "Status Is Law, Quo is Crime". Assassin's Creed 2 is a good game.
This week's jam is:
I SAW HIM ON SATURDAY AND IT WAS THE HYPEST SHIT EVER!!!
Worth every second and cent. As a broad shouldered lanky guy, concerts become very awkward for me. Any show that has mosh pits I immediately feel at home. I was dead tired by the time I got to the show at 9:30 (DOORS OPEN AT 10!). The two opening acts were pretty good, but it still wasn't enough to get me through the night. But the show kicks, time and space ceased to exist, and at no point in time was there a "Dull Moment". There were songs the crowd was less hyped for, such as anything not on "I Get Wet", but there was not point in time where he was taking a breather, or phoning it in, or slowing down.
Andrew WK, Party God.
Now, as some of you may know, WK has an album of covers of Japanese songs.
Since I play a lot of conventions, I figured it might help to add a couple to my repertoire. Basically, anything that was on Ouendan.
New song this Friday! "Reforged Fate", the Fate Reforged song! A lot slower than "Force Of Dragons", but still pretty bad ass. This is the slow beginning to FoD or the slow part before my Dragons of Tarkir song.
Status Quo Radio is almost done, putting up more stuff out to Rob, more in the works, and making slow steps toward getting the Kickstarter set up. More in the coming weeks, but I'm getting feedback on all that while I make da music.

Party On The Radio
1. I'm re-uploading "College Party". There were a few problems I had with the mix listening to it in the Dino Hunter M.D. episode. Namely, the mixing was off a bit.

ON NEWGROUNDS
2. In conjunction with submitting stuff alongside the NewGrounds Audio Deathmatch, this so happens to be the Bonus Round, so I'm uploading "Pass The Class" from Robot Rising to the Audio Portal as well.I didn't make these songs within the two weeks, so I'm taking it as a freebie, since there is a song I have finished, but personal reasons are keeping me from releasing it.
3. I'm going to be on Ozone Radio from Thursday 9-10 PM, doing a live audition! The show will called "The Bunker", and if you've read the blog, then you'll kind of know what to expect music-wise, but I will take requests.
4. I made this picture for Koltreg of Socialfist and Changeling fame:
It's from Batman #1 where he has to do community service and set up a Free Hugs station. I got into a couple of the DC reboot comics, but not Batman. That reboot thing seems to be real hit or miss.

NEW SONG: College Party
New song from the upcoming Dino Hunter MD Soundtrack, "College Party"! Or is it "College Party!"? Who cares! or is it Who cares??
REGARDLESS, this is the last song I have written for Dino Hunter MD. The rest (that are not on the Robot Rising EP), I still need to re-do. Soon you'll be seeing all of those songs in one place, and it will be awesome.
For this song, they originally wanted me to do "Heat Of The Moment" but not really for copyright reasons. The director said it was because "it was the happiest song I could think of". I was in the middle of penning a song about two hipsters at an 80's night in Willamsburg, but then I realized something: we also use "ABC" by The Jackson 5. "College Party" is supposed to take place during a party scene in Episode 2, where a study session is interrupted by drug use. Also, the partyingest (FUCK YOU SPELLCHECK!!!) musician out there is none other than Andrew WK.
Thus "College Party" was born!

My Rock Band 3 Wishlist
All right, everyone's doing it since the news a few days ago, so here goes:
"No More Heroes" by The Stranglers
Get the album and the video game that takes its namesake, because there is absolutely nothing else like it. Why would it make a good Rock Band 3 song? Complex guitar and keyboards will make it quite the challenge, and they interact nicely.
"Reelin' In The Years" by Steely Dan
Did you play through Steely Dan's "Bodhivasta" and thought "Fuck this noise, I'll never like Steely Dan"? Well, this song's much easier on your poor little fingers. It has interesting parts for everyone: the keyboard plays most of the rhythm with guitar coming in for a little lick every so often. Rock Band needs moar Steely Dan!
"Lily, Rosemary and the Jack Of Hearts" by Bob Dylan
Youtube doens't have any good videos, just covers. Aaaaaaaaaaaanyways, it would be a pretty boring song overall, but the story told is damn interesting, and everyone would be too focused on what's coming out of the vocalist mouth to care that they've been going over the same pattern for eight minutes. Then again, if they did "Tangled Up In Blue"...
"Super Rad" by The Aquabats
It was either this, or "Fashion Zombies", but I figured let the Charge!!! album be DLC, because gosh darn it we need something to balance out the depressing indie. Plus, I've been working on my MC Bat Commander voice for a while now, and it's almost as good as my Sean Connery. As far the song itself goes, it has all the hallmarks of ska: busy bass, complex drum beats (courtesy of Blink 182's Travis Barker).
"She Is Beautiful" by Andrew W.K.
Sure, I guess you could have DragonForce if you want metal with pianos in Rock Band 3. You know, if you're stupid. Andrew W.K, the king of partying and the inventor of hard, needs to be in this game, and not just his song, oh no. You know how in my Green Day Rock Band review I said I'm a sucker for the linear mo-cap? Seeing your guy bounce around like AWK would be TITS! It would be ACE! It would be... awesome! The guy's a pretty accomplished pianist, so naturally he plays it in most of his songs.
