This week's jam is a goth jam:
Mega64 will always deliver.
Let's go day by day, 'cause I had another big weekend:
AT SOME NEBULOUS POINT BEFORE THE WEEKEND:
My cover of "The Hero (One Punch Man)" is on YouTube!
FRIDAY:
I went 4-0 at Friday Night Magic because I was sitting to the left of a kid who passed me a Reality Smasher, a Kailtas Traitor of Ghet, Thought-Knot Seer and Ob Nixilis, Reignited, A MOTHER FUCKING PLANESWALKER.
As of right now, that was $40-ish in cards, not including the packs I won, which so far have contained nothing special, but then again there are still 5 packs out of my original 10, I've yet to open SO WHO KNOWS!?!?!?
SATURDAY:
The sound system was probably the best HHC had, but the guy that went on before I did ran a little long, and since there was a little scheduling tweakage, my set went on shorter than planned. I was thrown off, but I still played well. Though appropriately, my set ended on "Hunting Bigger Game" where I throw Magic cards into the audience, so it was still a good song to end on.
After me were chipcore metal band All Hail The Mustache from Hollywood, FL who brought shit down and made it moshier than I ever could have. They're a 4-piece metal band that are backed by a chiptune-ist, the latter I couldn't see. I'll assume a Game Boy is haunting one of their amps. They opened up with a cover of the Airship song from Super Mario 3, a classic that doesn't get enough love.
After them were 8 Bit Wave, an orchestra that covered video game music, doing Super Mario Medleys, Mega Men Medleys, a funky version of Chemical Plant from Sonic 2 and a Smash Bros Medley. However the real capper was the Undertale medley they did for an encore, and their Hopes and Dreams/Save the World gave me the feels all over again.
Hero Hype Con and Omni Expo are the two cons I've been a part of
since I've moved down here. While Omni Expo was always well backed, Hero
Hype Con was done by some people who were like "hey guys u wanna start a
con".
Last year was not a good year for the con, and
GeekFest (more on that later) was the same weekend, but all things
considered, it was a good turnout. It's been scaled back from the past
couple years to one day, but the focus on one day helped a lot.
SUNDAY:
The mother of all cheat days, EASTER. But fuck that, I went to GeekFest!
I got there kinda late, and didn't stay too long, and it was Easter, but the place was bumping regardless. It was a packed vendors room, with plenty of artists to steal business cards from. I also brokered a couple deals, and played some Star Realms, which is always a huge bonus. Again, my big regret is that I couldn't stay longer, since them and Ultracon know what they're doing.
Either way I have a billion business cards to sort through, so see you all later!

Status Quo Sunday Thinks Out Loud
This week's jam:
I've been having Mega64's Twitch Stream on in the BG while I work and I caught this on the stream one day. There's a lot of older stuff they show sometimes that either I forgot about or never made it to the website proper.
For example, Rocco being super awkward at last year's E3.
This song was in the original Rock Band with a special mix where the lead synth was also matched with some kickin' rad guitars, and while that version's good (and clearly better), I loves me some Mega64. For the record this is the video they were referencing.
NEW SONG!
THE HERO (One Puunch Man Theme) Cover
Originally I wanted to do a cover so I had a sample project to work on when I was learning how to do mixing/mastering, but then I loved the song so much I decided to make a proper version. Still need to finish the rest of the episodes, but for all intents and purposes, GO WATCH ONE PUNCH MAN!
There might be another thing coming this week, but HHC practice comes first. I will be streaming that at least once this week.
HERO HYPE CON!
This weekend! I don't know if I'll have a table, but I will put on one hell of a show. Still want to check out some of the other cons though.
I'm also on the verge of confirming a show elsewhere and working on new material, so plenty more to come!
NEW MENTION?
Not quite.... It's from over a ,onth ago, but I got mention on The Cli3nt's show GeekOut! for my release of "Think Geek Is Not Nerdcore"!

Status Quo Sunday Destroys Oppressive Overlords
Everything's beem thrown off this week because my Dad was hit by a car a couple weeks ago and I've been running around taking him to doctor's offices and he just went into surgery today. Everything's fine, he made it out OK! They're keeping him overnight for observation and to have him rest.
This week's jam:
#FreeKesha
Recently, she has been embroiled in a lawsuit with Sony, trying to break off her contract because Dr. Luke, a producer she's worked extensively with, abused her. A recent court decision stated that she couldn't break the contract due to a lack of evidence and protecting the contract law of Sony.
Thankfully, many are showing their support, with Taylor Swift donating $250,000.
Best of luck to her, I'll talk more extensively about this outside the Status Quo Sunday.
MUSIC NEWS!
About time asshat...
WHAT?
Nothing...
ALL RIGHT THEN.
"TAKE THE OATH" IS NOW OUT ON SOUNDCLOUD AND YOUTUBE!
I have a new song out, called "Take The Oath" inspired by the Oath of the Gatewatch set for Magic The Gathering.
This was a difficult, but also very rewarding song to work on. It's definitely one I had the longest streak of writer's block for, since everything was so pressured to have it out "on time" I just had trouble wrapping my head around it.
I like having the blocks work out to be these miniature concept albums where the Khans block went fast-slow-fast and was about loving dragons, this was about being a group of dorks who fight against Cthulu. At the very least it takes away some of the thematic guesswork out and I have somewhat of an idea where my next steps are going to be.
The next block is Shadows Over Innistrad which takes place in a realm inspired by gothic horror, so either alt-metal or Tom Waits style habberdashery.
NEW DEAL ON BANDCAMP!
Giving away MtG Cards with every tangible order. I have a shitton of some left over promos, and a bunch of commons and uncommons I cracked open from Oath of the Gatewatch. I'm not promising anything spectacular, but some of you out there who are curious about this game I talk about pretty much every week, or you don't keep up with the game regularly, it's a neat little bonus.
CON NEWS!
Omni Expo is still happening! I haven't been promoting it, because I'm too busy finishing up the song, but I'll get to practicing this week!
Hero Hype Con has been confirmed, I just need the time so I can set up the events.
I do not have any concert set up, but I will have a table at Out Con. It was very reasonable, profits go to a good cause, it's only one day. My music is awesome, so I think I can manage. Even better if I have a concert!
Florida Fandomania is shaping up to be HUGE, and I'm listed as a musical guest, so YAY FOR ME!
The best part is I'm going to have a bunch of new material to play for you all, so GET HYPED!

Status Quo Championships 2015
This week's jam:
Now, unlike most songs where I reconize the tune, but not the name of the song, this is one of those songs where I've seen the title, but never bothered to listen to the song until just recently, and as a song with jangly guitars, fast lyrics, and a sound straight from the 70's, I was naturally intregued. It was available for the Rock Band Network, then taken off.
Right, this is Sunday, right? Uh.... Damn, keep kayfabe, don't tell everyone how hype you are at 360 Backwards compatability, the new Star Fox game and the bazillion other games at E3....
HERO HYPE CON RECAP VIDEO!!!
Which dovetails nicely into my second point...

RHYTHM BASTARD T-SHIRTS ARE NOW ON SALE!
You don't have to worry about shipping, I want to see how the first couple orders pan out first.
Other than that, I moved all my stuff off my laptop to my desktop computer, I'm working on new material, and just generally cleaning house on certain things in the future.
On Sunday WHICH IS TODAY, two major events competed for my attention: Money In The Bank and the Nintendo World Championships.
MITB was underwhelming and when I found out Shaemus won the contract, I stopped giving a shit. Rollins vs. Ambrose will never not be golden, but, eh....
But the Nintendo World Championships? SUPER HYPE! This needs to be a thing at EVERY E3, especially now that speedrunning and Let's Plays are more of a thing.
I started watching about halfway through, when the second round began, and they were playing Metroid: Federation Force. One cool thing they did is that if you didn't place in a round, you went to a loser's bracket and played a game there. If you won that round, you were still in the loser's bracket, but you stayed in the game.
That was Super Metroid, where there first one to beat the end section got to stay in the game. Then Mario Kart 8 (top 3 finishers of a 3 track cup), and Balloon Fight of all things. Arin from the Game Grumps lost the Balloon Fight elimination round by a hair. Turns out he's pretty good at video games when he doesn't have to talk over them.
After that was Super Smash Bros. and the final round was Mario Maker, with ridiculous levels designed by Treehouse members. I think that, more than anything else, sold me on the WiiU. Between the Kazio insane levels, music making ones as seen in Little Big Planet, and, GUARANTEED a functioning computer system.
So my goal for this week, expect to see my MTG songs on YouTube, and a couple videos from me. This weekend is Treasure Coast Comic Con, so I'll be heading there to hand out a couple business cards.

Status Quo SHIRTS MOTHERFUCKER!!!
This week's jam:
a.k.a. expect to see this song covered at my next show. It's one of those Pop-Punk One Hit Wonders With a Ridiculous Premise that was so popular in the early 2000s.
BIGGEST NEWS:
T-SHIRTS MOTHERFUCKER!!!
Currently, I'm not putting them up on the store yet for two reasons. First, DNOS Collectables is still selling them at the (over by this point) Hero Hype Con, and second, I want to confer with Luke Herr, my logo's designer, before I go full wide spread with it.
Oh, right, Hero Hype Con. I played there!
Despite some technical hiccups, playing was good, and my stage mate (aka guy who was there to play the rave) DJ Power Glove was a cool dude.
Also, one of his friends played some Magic The Gathering with me, and I got to be on an episode of a Let's Play show "Just Guys Playing Games", who are using my music for future episode.
Some really impressive cosplays showed up, and it was a blast to watch the competition.
Hero Hype Con, while again, a nice meet up, was a lot smaller than last year. A few reasons that I won't go into now, but the biggest mistake they made was:
NOT HAVING A SCHEDULE OF EVENTS READILY AVAILABLE.
A schedule of events is more than just a convenience, it gives people a reason to stick around. If someone knows that something they'd be interested in is going down, then they'll be more likely to check out other events and spend more money in the interim. Especially at a small con when you can do all your shopping in an hour, regular distractions are a necessity.
Announcements were made as to what was going on, but someone who just showed up wouldn't know if there was anything going on later that might convince them spend the day there.
BIGGER NEWS:
I was recently featured in the spring 2015 issue of Carpe Nocturne, a magazine for the creative culture. I met them at Geekfest Florida and they were super nice to me, and I was really honored that they chose to have me featured in their latest issue.
I'm not entirely sure when the print version comes out, but you can get the online version on their website, or check them out on FaceBook.
BIG NEWS:
DID YOU KNOW?
The Echo Chamber has a new website!
R U A KEWL, KRAZY KID? Jam out in the ECHO ZONE!!!
-Fun!
-Games!
-Attitude!
-Say NO to DRUGS!
Basically it's a way for all of us to kinda do our own thing, and spare Owen the embarrassment of being associated with us.Also, I'll posting up my recaps up there the day before they go up here.
There's talks of a couple other podcasts going up as well, it has embeds to all of our streams, and I'm aiming to set up a radio station that will play blocks of old podcasts as well as music from our picks and made by us. In a way, I was fine with the way things were, but maybe the rebranding is a way to reignite that flame we once had.
After these big weekends, I usually have a lot of crap to do while RAW is on. Hopefully it's a dull episode...

Status Quo Sunday Fest Presented by Ultracon
This week's jam:
A.K.A. Gang Beasts in music video form.
This week was another 10/4 week for me, so while I had the extra day off, unfortunately, I still had a busy weekend.
BUT FIRST "YO RB WHATCHA GOT?"
ALBUM UPDATE-
Two songs to go! Really, only one song to finish writing and one song to re-record. Also finishing my Dragons of Tarkir song which leads me to....
DTK Prerelease! Went 3-1, going with a White/Blue flyers deck. Some MVPs:
-Misthoof Kirin: A 3/2 flier with vigilance that you can play as a morph for 3, and then turn up for only 2 mana, which enbables you to also play...
-Palace Familiar: 1/1, Flying, for 1 and a blue, AND when it dies, you draw a card? Definitely worth drafting. Small fliers, cheap blockers and even cheaper draw is WORTH IT!
-Illusory Gains: Control a creature, then control the next creature that comes out? Really took to this one, since there were a few games where my opponent didn't want to cast anything else, in the event that I'll control that too.
KICKSTARTER...?
Right now, the plan is to focus on finishing the album, then worry about the Kickstarter. So, nothing has been set forward with that yet.
UPCOMING CONS?
Good news everyone!
Miami Hurricon is coming up VERY soon, April 4th!
Ultracon has been moved to July, making me 100% FREE to do Omni Expo!
Ultracon and Hero Hype Con are not confirmed yet, but I should be hearing back from them soon.
In the next couple days, I'll be updating the site with times and whatnot.
OH YEAH, I DID GEEKFEST!
I didn't have a show at GeekFest, but the card was pretty full, and any place with a stage was too crowded. I DID take pictures, and that video will come soon once my workload is a little lighter. Under Ultracon's wing, it took a big step up from where it was in 2013, but still kept it nice and manageable.
I'd be remiss to not to shout out that I met up with Zach of ZifProd, who recorded my Chibi Pa Concert:

Status Quo Sunday's Ten Lessons Learned.
Album's going strong, a little ahead of the game, so, let's look back 2014!
Cesaro's on RAW and he's talking about how-
Oh, right. Um, something relevant... OK-
MY TOP 10 (IN NO ORDER) CONVENTIONS OF 2014! (and the lessons learned)
1. Sands Of Anime
Location is everything. It was by this really nice, beautiful beach, and with some time, it could be a destination con, ala Umicon Daytona. But, they also put the music act opposite the voice actor panels. And the merch tables were out of the way.
2. Miami Hurricon
BRING A FUCKING MIC STAND.
3. Omni Expo
Never underestimate the power of a good connection. I met up with a lot of people there, who I would go on to work with and become good friends with, such as the guys from Orlando Nerd Fest and Sci-Fried, DJ RoboRob (who's producing Status Quo Radio), and Geekapella.
Also, KNOW WHAT DATES OTHER THINGS ARE AT.
4. Hero Hype Con
Learning from your mistakes. Hero Hype Con picked up the slack, and knowing what to expect and being prepared for anything, let me perform better. Also, I got a really sweet spot, before the cosplay competition.
5. Anime Festival Orlando
You don't need to hustle 100%. I feel like I need to at these things, but I was having way more fun once I settled down and played some Magic The Gathering. Really, A LOT of Magic The Gathering, lol. My concert went well, but again, cons are supposed to be fun, and I don't have to be on the clock.
6. Creator Owned Expo
Supporting the little guy feels really good, and as I'm watching RAW, it reminds me of the benefit of putting guys over. Which they don't do on RAW. Be like Ron (Kerronian, head of COE), not RAW.
7. Orlando Nerd Fest
Hard work feels great when it pays off. Like Creator Owned Expo, it feels really good putting guys over, and when that person does the same to you (like what MC Lars did to me), the feeling is euphoric.
8. Umicon Music Initative
Act like you never made a mistake. A string broke, I was inbetween two other acts, and I only had so much time left. I just translated everything and went along with it, and became EVEN MORE OF A DORK.
AARON DISMUKE, I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!!!
9. Chibi Pa: Suki Desu
Putting the artists alley infront of the Dealer's Room is a REALLY smart idea, and it's almost TOO obvious to think of.
I was also going to put something here about good turns deserving another, as when I lent my amp to the staff to borrow for an event, fate rewarded me with Andrew from S.S. Hanami helping me out on drums, but con organizers should also take note of this list.
10. UltraCon
Putting the panels and what times they're at RIGHT OUTSIDE THE PANEL ROOMS is another REALLY good idea.
But, there's also another bonus lesson here: Know your limits. I'm not at the point where I'm marketable enough yet to where I can sell merch at cons via table. I'm a hard sell; original content in an environment based off of fandom.
So I'm going to be less aggressive in trying to snag cons this year. I'm definitely not quitting, but I'm not going to shotgun everything, and waste money on tables and stuff like that. I might even try to snag some small shows on Clematis Street, like a REAL musician.
It's a big world out there, and 2015 is going to be a big year.
Huh, my birthday's on a Sunday this year....

Status Quo Sundays and the Papas
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!
He was also responsible for filming the show:
My Dad's going in for surgery this week, so that's all on our minds. He was always very supportive of the Rhythm Bastard, and was always willing to help get me to shows, answer technical questions, or be an extra set of ears.
I got him a Blu-Ray copy of the movie Quadrophenia, which is a pretty good movie.
There's a bit of a break in between gigs, so I'm going to be working on new music. A couple Magic The Gathering based songs, and maybe a new rap inspired by a Let's Play?
Also for this week's Echo Chamber podcast, we interviewed game designer Carolyn VanEseltine, who was a former Harmonix employee that ran the Rock Band Network, where we all met up. Since that and last week's podcast are both E3 related, they're going to be recapped together.

Status Quo Sunday STAYS HYPED for the Heroes
PSY's GOT A NEW SINGLE? Wait, no.... The other thing...
Hero Hype Con! This is probably the first convention I got to see change from year to year, and coming off that first iteration, while it's still rough around the edges, it could keep its current size and fill out more as the years go on, which I'm sure it will. I liked it Year One because it was put together by passionate people, and that's what kept it rolling along Year Two. I was originally scheduled to play at noon, the shenanigans, so I went on at 3, which I was glad for, since I got a spot right before the cosplay contest.
A lot of the guests were locals, cosplayers and the like, but there was a pretty good video game set up, lots of cosplayers, and all the vendors filled out the space well. Next year will be amazing once more people catch on.
My show? On the way home, when me and Dad stopped by to get some Smash Burger, he put it best: "I felt this parental pride, when I was watching you up there on stage."
The show did have that "big" feeling. It's been a year, and I was in great form. While not perfect, it felt like I've improved a lot over this past year. Let's take a look:
Hero Hype Con 2013
Mizucon 2013
Anime Festival Orlando 2013
Umicon Daytona 2013
Sands Of Anime 2014
Miami Hurricon 2014
Omni Expo 2014
and now, Hero Hype Con 2014.
One year ago, we had to rig up a sound system out of a laptop and a speaker that was not meant to handle anything bigger than an iPod. This year had a full surround sound set up, with wireless mics, inputs for my laptop and everything.
And THERE.... IS.... VIDEO.... which will be coming soon as soon as I get a 45 minute, 6 GB file off an iPhone.
But there are pictures!
Here's to another awesome year! Hopefully I get out of Florida...

Status Quo Sunday Gets Hyped To STAY HYPED!!
Oh, WWE... Every NXT wrestler I think "Oh, I'd like to see where he goes!" gets jobbed out to Rusev....
If we can look back for just a quick second....
Yeah!
You can see the full archive on my Flickr Page.
And now looking forward to the future: Once I'm at Hero Hype Con, I'll have a table there, and be performing a bunch of smaller, surrogate shows around the con since my time slot is so early.
Maybe I'll go "Wandering Salesman" and have all my CDs and posters for sale!
WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY NEXT POINT:
Are you an artist/graphic designer looking for some another commission? I'm probably going to need someone to work on some other stuff, but if you're an artist at an upcoming convention, and you want to do a poster, send me an e-mail at rhythmbastard@gmail.com
I'm also looking for people to do the "Status Quo Radio" cover/poster and all that, but that's not for right now. Once I finish this second Act, then I'll be ready for it to send out to artist, just so they will have enough of an idea of the album beyond the first 10 or so minutes.
But after HHC, then I'll have more time to finish up these half-done songs I've been on.
LATER!

Status Quo Sunday Gets By With A Little Help...
ALL RIGHT, so forward progress is being made in general on everything!
Except my Magic playing. I only went 2-2.
-First and foremost, I've gotten a Flickr page, so you can view all the pictures I took. Right now, only Miami Hurricon is there, but I'll add more as I got back into the archives and dig up some good stuff :)
-Second, progress on another song is coming along and I really like the job the drummer did. So once this song is done, Act 2 will be more or less complete. Hopefully I can finish it in time for Omni Expo. This is really starting to come together, and right now my goal is to finish one "Act" in between each con I'm going to. Act 1 is already (more or less) 100% complete,
After all of that, I'm going to get a Kickstarter set up so that I can get some funding to have it mixed, mastered and printed.
-Speaking of cons, here's my Hurricon recap video!
-And, five minutes before I hit "Publish" on this bad boy, Hero Hype Con comes out with their commercial (WHERE I'LL BE PLAYING!!!)
-Finally, at long last, the E.T. Atari Cartridges have been found. I have no idea how to feel right now: Elated, because something we've believed for a long time has finally come true, or upset, because a long held myth has been taken out of the realms of legend an into reality? These are trying time we are living in my friend.

Status Quo La Quo Sunday Takes You To Wrestlemania
LISTEN HERE, BROTHER, DUDE, WE GOT SOME BIIIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR YOU BASTARDMANIACS
TWO NEW CONVENTIONS!!!
OMNI EXPO- OMNI EXPO’s first focus is that of an electronics media tradeshow that brings manufacturers of the worlds latest cutting edge technology to a targeted consumer demographic that wants the best the future has to offer right now. The second focus is to create an umbrella venue for like-minded smaller conventions and trade shows in the area that have a similar consumer base. These conventions and trade shows will encompass all aspects of future technology based media, such as but not limited to science fiction, electronic based gaming, multi-cultural fantasy, and animation.
BASICALLY IT'S A NEW HYPE-ASS CONVENTION IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA!
Lots of awesome guests are lined up, such as Ellen McLain (GlaDos), John Patrick Lowrie (Sniper- TF2), Robert Axelrod (Lord Zedd), Kyle Herbert (Dragonball Z), Jen Taylor (Princess Peach from the Mario games, Left 4 Dead) AND MORE!!!
Also, returning for Year #2,
HERO HYPE CON- A small convention in the heart of Miami showcasing cosplayers, gamers & fans, within the super hero world. So basically, GET HYPED!!!
I had a lot of fun last year, and I know this year will be even better!
More news as it comes.
So Wrestlemania XXX opened up with a tag match that ended up in a giant cuddle puddle, and ended with a championship match befitting of this special anniversary. Cesaro won, Daniel Bryan got what was coming to him since Summerslam, and Brock Lesnar ate the Undertaker like a delicious sandwich from Jimmy Johns.
Also I started watching Kill La Kill. The creators have shows like FLCL and Gurren Laggan on their resume, so you know it's going to be out there. While I've yet to see those series, this is just plain insane.

Hero Hype Con Recap
Facebook and Tumblr peeps have already seen this, but here's my Hero Hype Con Recap Video:
And now those aforementioned shout-outs (seriously, I met a LOT of people):
LAST LAFF MAGAZINE- The dudes who ran the show. Thanks! The "Let's start up a convention!" thing seems to be springing up a lot (at least in Florida), it's something I can respect in a way, and you'll never know what will catch on.
BRONIES OF SOUTH FLORIDA- The guys who I ripped off the pics from. (Sorry!) Talking to them for a bit, it sounds like they're a group that just goes to conventionsand goes on outings and stuff, kind of like the Boy Scouts, only instead of starting campfires and helping old ladies across the street, they watch My Little Pony. That's what Zippo Lighters are for.
DARKSIDE GLOBAL- A comic anthology that's looking to promote themselves at the convention. There's not a lot there right now, but it looks promising.
CHARLES HDEZ- Artist of aforementioned comic. I won a free print from him, that now hangs on my wall!
GRIFTER'S CUSTOM CREATIONS- Sponsor of the convention, they had a ton of great costumes to show off! They gave away a Red Hood mask to the winner of the costume contest.
KEVIN JOESPH - Comic artist who was giving away free ebooks of his comics Tart and Underwars.
BABY RABIEZ- People who sold all kinds of Fandom Merch. I got me a The Misfits belt!
THOR (Ryan Frye)-This guy looked A LOT like Thor. I mean seriously, he was really good. He was also in a short fan-film called Thor: Legacy which was better than what I was expecting.
MADALORIAN MERCS- Like the 501st, they're a costuming group that helps out charities and creates quality costumes. They have a lot more personality to them, coming in different colors, configurations, and battle wear, and the red one won 1st place in the costume contest (which I helped judge). I really do have a lot of appreciation for guys who have the craftsmanship (and money) to put these together.
PLANET X: PART II: THE FROZEN MOON- One of the many short films going on there.

Status Quo Sunday Gets Hyped For The Heroes
Obviously, no work on the album was done, but I did get to play "Status Quo Radio" live. SO TECHNICALLY IT COUNTS.
So, Hero Hype Con has come and gone, and I sit here at my desk almost 24 hours later, looking at the pictures I took and the (many, many, MANY) fliers and business cards I collected, thinking about all I have to do this coming week.
For their first year, The Hero Hype Con, despite some technical stuff everyone had to work through, was at least a fun day out for some local people and some promotion for the local vendors. I'm sure next year, now that the awkward inaugural year has been out of the way, everyone knows what to expect, so things will go a lot smoother.
As for the show itself, I saw a fan film "Thor: Legacy" which featured a really good Thor, played some Mario Kart 64, got a The Misfits belt, and even helped judge the costume contest!
Maybe next year I could get a table to sell my wares, but I was able to exchange some information and talk to some really nice people.
There are a ton of people I want to give shout outs to, but honestly, I just want to get my thoughts down, and startplaying Duels Of The Planeswalkers editing the recap video.
Many thanks to Carlos Soto, Alexander Priddy, Stephanie (never got her last name but she'll know who she is) and the rest of the crew for letting me perform, and they both deserve major props for setting up their own convention, and even in their costume contest, promoting a DIY attitude.
SETLIST:
1. "Status Quo Radio"
2. "Cliffhanger"
3. "Heroes Die"
4. "Axe Punk"
I would/could have gone for longer, but it was my first time playing live in a while, AND I only practiced for a 15 minute set. Toes were tapping, people were clapping, I'm invited back for next year and that's all I really need.
While not quite a Gig Of Legend, it was not recorded because of reasons I'll put down in the recap video.

The Hero Hype Con AND Mizucon shows!
So, since Florida is the Convention Capital of the World, I'm going to be appearing at a couple of them!
Saturday, June 8th, 2013-
The Hero Hype Con
It'll be a 15 minute set, but it's a new convention looking for some support, and it's only $10 if you buy before Wednesday at midnight. I'm excited to see what the turn out will be. There's supposed a lot of cosplayers, so if you liked my PAX East recap, then I might have some new material.
Saturday, June 15th, 2013- 7:00 PM in the A/V Room
MizuCon
This will be an hour set, and in the A/V room. Whereas The Hero Hype Con is more comics focused, this one is for all you otakus out there. Again, it's got a heavy bent toward cosplay as well, and hopefully I can step up my game when it comes to on stage costumery.
I'm a little light on funds, so I won't be selling physical CDs, I'll be selling download cards for Dino Hunter MD: The Sound Track on BandCamp and posters (designs coming soon)
