WELCOME TO... THE ECHO CHAMBER
-This is Welcome To Night Vale. Listen to it, and be amazed. Or you could be a pissy little bitch like my brother and yell "IT'S SO STUPID!!!" Easiest way to put it, NPR from the Twilight Zone. My favorite style of humor (or really, humor in general when you get right down to it) is the completely ridiculous portrayed with an absolutely straight face.
-Audible is for chumps.
-Speaking of Sherlock Holmes, here's some good "Hark! A Vagrant!" on Sherlock
Comic 1
Comic 2
-Speaking of Sherlock Holmes again, the Martin Freeman/Benedict Cumberbatch series Sherlock is pretty good, and I can see why Tumblr is obsessed over it. Meaning, it's a good show that has young pretty white people in it and Tumblr's like OMGSHIPTIME
-Speaking of Martin Freeman, I will still stand by the "Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy Movie". It has Sam Rockwell AND Mos Def in it, and while there are some parts where it feels like they kinda slapped it together and make it all happy and Hollywood-ish.
-Speaking of Martin Freeman again, The World's End ends the Cornetto Trilogy in two weekends.
-Speaking of Cornettos, we call them King Cones in AMURICA!
-Speaking of AMURICA! what's more American that investing a shitton of money into something dangerous and stupid only to have it produce a shitton of waste? NOTHING!
-Speaking of that thing I just said, here's a look at some Bitcoin Mining Rigs, which the Fire Department calls "A Shit Storm Waiting To Happen":
-MovieBob explains movie rights in this video. Now what I want to know is, "Where is Taskmaster?" I really hope there's a loophole like with Scarlet Witch and Quiksilver, that even though they're mutants, they were part of the Avengers so the Marvel Movies can use them. Originally he was an Avengers villain, but he has a history with Deadpool.
-If I animate anything from the Echo Chamber, our "Duckface On A Grandpa" bit would be it.

Status Quo Sunday Is Trying His Hardest GODDAMN IT
Not much work was put into the album since, A. the song I'm up to is a rerecord and B. The Music Video has been taking its toll on my brain due to my shitty laptop. It'll be released in time for YouTube's Geek Week (which is apparently a thing)
Saw Zombieland this week and it was AWESOME!!! The writing team behind that are also behind the (most recent) draft of the planned (because it's still coming out at some point) Deadpool movie. Let me just say, those guys LOVE their text superimposed on the background.
Also, I updated my con shows for the next few months, including Umicon and OMFG!
Sorry this was so short, but this week's podcast update will be worth it.

Echo Chamber Post Game Episode 49
DOWNLOAD THIS EPISODE BECAUSE IT IS A PERFECT SQUARE
-So, anyway, the awesome thing that resulted of two groups of friends coming together was this:
OK, so the week before we had to shoot, I was invited to a high school friend of mine, Elana's, birthday party, where she was making a movie. We haven't talked much since then, but it has been a while, and my friend David, who I worked on the Dino Hunter MD stuff with, was staying over that night.
Keep in mind, just as all of this was happening, people were dropping out of production, so he needed some actors and a makeup person. We went to her party, and made a movie. They, and a couple of the people we met still keep in touch so it didn't turn out too bad. Paul, for example, played Brady in Halloween Party and is working with David on his next project.
-Dear AnimeCow, is this the anime you were talking about? Here's something better than that:
-"A Hat In Time" is making me wish I had a better PC, because not only is it the same vein as Banjo-Kazooie, its music is done by Grant Kirkhope, who did the music for BK and Goldeneye 007.
-I was thinking about doing a series of dramatic readings of songs with fucked up lyrics and fanfictions called "Fancy Bastard"
-Here's the Anime Roommate Series on Something Awful.
-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!!!

Status Quo Sunday Chops Your Head Off
AXE COP THE TV SHOW IS NOW OUT!
While the spoken into is OK, it looks like it needs a shot of vitamin R-B:
I'm really liking the TV show so far, and I think Nick Offerman really fits in with the kind of humor they're going for which is to play everything completely straight.
In album news, I'm officially on Act 2 of Status Quo Radio, and while there are a ton of rerecords and writing that I still have to do, it's not terribly far off. This week's track was a stripped down, acoustic version of Radio Days that I'll add the harmonica to later.
In other news, I saw The Wolverine. It was good up until it remembered "Shit, we have to be a comic book movie." You have all of these nice shots of Japan, the woods, all these really nice houses, and then the last 30 minutes takes place in some underground laboratory, where everything is cut so frantically I can hardly keep up. The best action takes place when it tried to be a samurai movie that just so happens to feature a dude with claws coming out of his hands.

Status Quo Sunday Fights The Kaiju
Saw Pacific Rim on Sunday. It's like Guiellromo Del Toro read my mind, found out whatever pisses me off about action movies, and said "Fuck that noise, and plus add in some Robots and Shark Monsters".
I liked Hellboy, and it's made me curious about the rest of GDT's work, but my main reason for seeing it was Charlie Day as a Scientist.
AND BACK TO THE PROGRAM!!!!
So, Studio One has officially gotten too unwieldy for me to cram everything into one file, so I've started breaking up the Studio One File into song sized chunks. I still have the main template to work from, so it's not like all is lost. I just have to learn how to master, that's all.
Now, since this was originally a TF2 concept album, I originally planned "Radio Days Pt. 1"
to be the Engineer's song, and be in three parts. HOWEVER, since the story I'm planning has taken things into a different direction, I've repurposed it, and it'll be included in the interlude that introduces the 2nd Act.
The new Radio Days will be more in line with Bob Dylan than country music, but as always I'm gonna be working my ass off on it!
NewGrounds Audio Death Match snubbed me for the 4th year in a row, BUT don't care because...
I got invited to play at Anime Festival Orlando’s inaugural Orlandia Music Festival GO! (OMFG!) on August 16-18th. Details are coming soon, but I will have to update the sideboard.
SO, if you want to help a brother out, and help build up my warchest so I can start selling physical merch, my album if for sale, and you CAN pay more than $0!
